I visited my sister today in memory care at American House Somerset & many residents were participating in a sing-a-long. We went out to talk in an enclosed outdoor garden on a covered patio, enjoying some snacks & all the beautiful blooms. While there, everyone seemed very happy & engaged. The staff were friendly & helpful, making this a lovely visit on a beautiful day!
Our parents who both went from assisted living to memory care at American House Somerset were loved and cared for by some very special people. If there was a problem or concern, staff was always aware of it and already working on a solution. We are extremely grateful!
The care my husband received in memory care was wonderful. Every single person on staff was both caring and professional. I was a singer many years ago, and now I’m retired. I don’t like to live in the past or focus on past glory. I feel you live on what you accomplish today. The fact that I have time at my discretion here is very important. I like the food and I was an avid cook back home! I also haven’t done housework in eight years! We moved in and it was a very easy transition for us. The employees are absolutely outstanding! All of them. It almost looks like they are handpicked people. I would recommend American House to anyone. It was the best move we ever made. The most wonderful thing was seeing my husband improve with nursing care and physical therapy.
