Our family was in a difficult situation and American House Village of Rochester has been amazing, it has been the best fit for our loved one. They were life savers to our family and we appreciate everything they have done. Everyone we have spoken with has spoken highly of the meals and dining service, and we have even eaten meals ourselves and they have not disappointed.
We chose American House Village because of the location, she lived close by and so she is still close to her friends and is familiar with the area. The biggest thing that sticks out to me is just how over the top friendly everybody is. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking - after she moved here she said she wishes she would have moved here 5 years sooner.
Food for dinner was delicious. Staff in the dining room was attentive, polite, and helpful. Since my last visit, I noticed an increase in the number of staff. One aide even went out of her way to introduce herself to me but only after she washed her hands. The staff was very patient with my mother while helping her in the bathroom. Keep up the good work and excellent care you provide my mother and others placed in your care.
